KelliRae's daddy was deployed to Afghanistan when she came to us with an idea, a plan, and a box of beads. With our approval, help, and support...she successfully took her dream and made it reality in 2012.
KelliRae was eight when she sat down and explained her idea to us. At the time, we had no idea how successful it would become. Her dad and I wanted to support her dreams and give her a chance to do something that was important to her, while distracting her from thinking about the dangers of her dad's deployment. We also believed it would teach her the value of money and that alone would stay with her for the rest of her life (She learned that lesson quickly!). We made the decision to invest the money for a few things that she could experiment with and KelliRae took over from there.
I set up a little shop for her (My Hero Creations) and it quickly became something more for both of us. I started making charms to fulfill her custom requests and discovered I really enjoyed challenging myself, while making a small, blank piece of metal into a wearable piece of art.
That being said, we accumulate A LOT of inventory throughout the year...I am a jewelry supply hoarder and KelliRae tends to like things more organized and clean. After some time, we decided to open up a separate shop for her to sell off excess inventory that we collect throughout the year.
Thanks for stopping by! If you can't find what you need, feel free to send a message...Kelli just might be able to find something in my stash that will work for you.
